Nylon sheets are widely used in various industries as a new type of engineering plastic. They possess excellent properties such as low density, light weight, and good mechanical performance. Nylon is a good material to replace steel, iron, copper, and other metals, making it an important engineering plastic.
1. MC Nylon (Ivory White): The properties of unmodified cast nylon 6 are very close to those of nylon 66. It has good overall performance, high strength, stiffness, and hardness, as well as excellent creep resistance, wear resistance, heat aging resistance, and good machinability.
2. Nylon 6 (White): This material has the most superior overall performance, including mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness, mechanical damping, and wear resistance. These characteristics, combined with good electrical insulation and chemical resistance, make nylon 6 a "general-purpose" material for manufacturing mechanical structural parts and maintainable components.
3. PA6 + Oil (Green): This cast nylon 6 is truly self-lubricating nylon, specifically developed for manufacturing parts that cannot be lubricated, have high loads, and operate at low speeds. It significantly broadens the application range of nylon, with a lower friction coefficient (can be reduced by 50%) and improved wear resistance (can be increased by 10 times) compared to ordinary nylon.
4. MC901 (Blue): This modified nylon 6 has a striking blue color, with higher toughness, better flexibility, and fatigue resistance than ordinary cast nylon. It has proven to be an ideal material for gears, racks, and transmission gears.
5. Nylon 66 (Cream): Compared to nylon 6, it has better mechanical strength, stiffness, heat resistance, wear resistance, and creep resistance, but its impact strength and mechanical damping performance are reduced. It is very suitable for automatic lathe machining.
6. Nylon 66 + GF30 (Black): Compared to pure nylon 66, this nylon is reinforced with 30% glass fiber, which improves its heat resistance, strength, stiffness, creep resistance, dimensional stability, and wear resistance. Its maximum allowable operating temperature is also higher.
7. Nylon 4.6 (Red-Brown): Compared to ordinary nylon, nylon 4.6 is characterized by strong rigidity retention, good creep resistance, and better heat aging resistance over a wide temperature range. Therefore, nylon 4.6 is used in "higher temperature applications" (80-150°C) where nylon 6, nylon 66, POM, and PET cannot meet the requirements in terms of stiffness, creep resistance, heat aging resistance, fatigue strength, and wear resistance.
