How To Choose MC Nylon Material Before Machining

When choosing MC nylon material, start with the job of the finished part. A sliding pad may need enough wear allowance, while a roller sleeve may need a stable diameter and a cleaner surface. If the part will touch metal, run near water or carry light impact, it is better to tell the supplier before cutting stock.

For most orders, sheet, rod and block form are enough. Check drawing size, final machining allowance and quantity for each item. Blue MC901 is useful when different plastic grades are stored together, and good packing labels make receiving work easier. A short note about use position can also help the supplier give more practical cutting advice.
