As is well known, every product has a specific manufacturing process, and nylon rods are no exception. So, do we know how nylon rods are manufactured?
1. Equipment: Plastic extruder.
2. Material: Extruding nylon rod plastic products is relatively difficult due to the wide range of viscosity grades, which are more than 3.0 times higher. The lower the viscosity, the more likely the material is to be extruded and molded, and the mold needs to be more sophisticated. The screw selection depends on the aspect ratio and other data of the raw material.
3. Mold: The ratio of construction to ordinary plastic is not significantly different, but the pressure requirements are relatively stringent.
4. Preparation method: Due to the hygroscopic nature of nylon, the raw material must be dried before processing to ensure a moisture content of 0.3% or less.
5. Preheating.
6. Extrusion, sizing, coding, metering, winding, inspection, and warehousing.
7. For PA11/12 nylon rods and PA6 nylon rods after extrusion and molding, adjustments and wet treatment are generally required to soften the product.
8. Materials requiring wet processing generally have good low-temperature resistance and are prone to brittleness.
