Polytetrafluoroethylene sheet (also called tetrafluoroethylene sheet, Teflon sheet, Teflon sheet) is made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin by molding at room temperature, and then sintering and cooling.
High temperature resistance
The working temperature is up to 250℃.
Low temperature resistance
It has good mechanical toughness; even if the temperature drops to -196℃, it can maintain an elongation of 5%.
Corrosion resistance
It is inert to most chemicals and solvents, and can withstand strong acids, strong alkalis, water and various organic solvents.
Weather resistance
It has the best aging life among plastics.
High lubricity
It has the lowest friction coefficient among solid materials.
Non-toxicity
It has physiological inertness, and there are no adverse reactions when it is implanted in the body as an artificial blood vessel and organ for a long time.
Non-adhesion
It has the smallest surface tension among solid materials, does not adhere to any substance, and its mechanical properties have a very small friction coefficient, which is only 1/5 of that of polyethylene. This is an important feature of the perfluorocarbon surface. Because the intermolecular force between fluorine-carbon chains is extremely low, polytetrafluoroethylene has non-stickiness.
